Tharparkar ambulance accident; announcement to give Rs 2 million each to heirs of deceased

Chairman PPP takes notice of incident, instructions for transparent investigation

Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced Rs 2 million each for heirs of 9 persons killed in ambulance accident in Tharparkar.

He has directed that all persons injured in accident be provided best medical facilities. Chief Minister also directed Chief Secretary to conduct transparent inquiry of incident from Health Department and present report.

Chief Minister Sindh, while directing to ensure arrangements for last rites of deceased persons, ordered Member Sindh Assembly Qasim Soomro to reach Nagarparkar and supervise relief and administrative measures.

Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed deep grief and sorrow over loss of precious human lives in tragic accident and expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolence with heirs of deceased.

On other hand, Chairman Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari took notice of incident of oxygen cylinder explosion in ambulance managed by PPHI in Tharparkar. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that loss of precious human lives as a result of oxygen cylinder explosion in Dano Dhandal area of Tharparkar is shocking.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he equally shares grief of families of deceased persons and prays for early recovery of injured. He also directed to conduct complete and transparent investigation of incident and bring facts to fore.

Chairman Peoples Party said that if this tragic incident is result of human negligence or any criminal act, then those responsible should be given severest punishment. He also directed to review current system to prevent such incidents in future in Tharparkar and ensure implementation of effective measures.
