PTI long march, important routes of motorways and GT Road closed

All routes will remain closed till further orders, according to motorway police

On matter of Tehreek-e-Insaf's long march, motorway police closed traffic movement on important highways.

According to sources, motorway M-1 has been closed for all types of traffic from Islamabad toll plaza to Chhachh interchange from both sides till further orders. Islamabad toll plaza, Fateh Jang / Tarnol, Sangjani / AWT, Brahma Bahtar, Burhan, Hazara Motorway, Ghazi and Chhachh interchanges of M-1 will also remain closed.

Similarly, motorway M-14 has been closed from Hakla to Kundal from both sides for all types of traffic. Hakla, Fateh Jang, Pindi Gheb, Kharpa, Trap, Daud Khel, Kot Belian, Isa Khel and Kundal interchanges will also remain closed till further orders.

According to sources, GT Road N-5 has also been closed for traffic from both sides at point of Attock Khurd.

Motorway police announced yesterday that M-1, M-14 and other said places will be closed from Wednesday night, while all routes will remain closed till further orders.
