PTI is not supporter of terrorism, we are with army in war, Shaukat Yousafzai

Instead of taking measures in name of eliminating terrorism, actions have been started against PTI, former provincial minister

Peshawar: PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai has said that Tehreek-e-Insaf does not support terrorism, we are with army in this war.

Talking in private TV program, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary Information and former provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai has said that his party has always condemned terrorism and stands with Pakistan Army in war against it.

Shaukat Yousafzai alleged that instead of taking measures in name of eliminating terrorism, actions have been started against PTI. His question was whether aim of government is to eliminate terrorism or to eliminate Tehreek-e-Insaf?

He claimed that crackdown is being carried out against party workers, in which sanctity of chador and char diwari is being violated.

Former provincial minister said that negotiations have taken place before as well, PTI has always opposed terrorism. Support of armed forces in war against terrorism is party's stance.

Shaukat Yousafzai referring to allegations of not allocating funds for police said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spent 2 percent of its budget on police.

He clarified that PTI in any case does not support terrorism. Imposing emergency and accusing whole party of supporting terrorists is wrong.
