Pakistani and Saudi investors invite each other to invest in real estate

It is dream of Pakistanis that they have a house in Makkah or Madina, Saudi government should take advantage of this desire, Arif Habib

Lahore: Saudi-Pak Real Estate Expo was organized at Lake City Golf and Country Club.

Pakistani investors participating in expo invited Saudi investors to invest in real estate sector in Pakistan while expressed desire to invest in Saudi real estate sector. Inaugural ceremony of expo was attended by Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Chairman Saudi-Pak Business Council Prince Mansoor bin Mohammed Al Saud, former caretaker federal minister Gohar Ejaz, renowned industrialist Arif Habib and other important business personalities.

Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider said that Dr. Gohar Ejaz tries that more investment comes in country, there is great scope of business in real estate, after seeing presentation of CBD and RUDA it felt as if I went to heaven, today's expo will open new paths of business.

Governor Punjab said that relationship of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will remain forever till doomsday, we are proud of Field Marshal and Prime Minister who made Makkah Agreement, 250 million people of Pakistan are army of Saudi Arabia, if given opportunity whole nation is ready for martyrdom.

Former caretaker federal minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz

Dr. Gohar Ejaz while addressing expo said that purpose of this expo is to increase business relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, a new era is beginning in real estate, we have invited Saudi investors to look for business opportunities among 250 million people in Pakistan.

Dr. Gohar Ejaz said that such a large population here needs houses, business is solution to every problem, trade and business has been given great importance in Islamic teachings as well, Saudi Arabia is country providing most employment to Pakistani citizens.

He said that we have kept fund of five billion for investment in both countries under Pak-Saudi Business Council, this expo will provide opportunity to learn to our construction sector experts, businessmen must come to this expo and take advantage of this opportunity.

Renowned industrialist Arif Habib

Arif Habib while addressing said that two million Pakistanis are investing in Saudi Arabia, more than two million people go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah every year, these people invest four billion dollars, it is dream of Pakistanis that they have house in Makkah or Madina, Saudi government should take advantage of this desire.

Arif Habib said that Pakistanis have stopped investment in Dubai in recent situation, this is profitable opportunity for Saudi Arabia, we are also talking with government, this will not harm Pakistan but investment will also come from Saudi Arabia, both countries will benefit from it, investors of both sides should themselves decide where they will get more benefit of investment, foreign investment is future of business.

Arif Habib said that Saudi government should encourage investment of its citizens in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia should take advantage of opportunities arising in Pakistan, this will prove to be a good beginning, with help of this business will grow in both countries.

Arif Habib said that human resources of Pakistan and capital of Saudi Arabia together can give better results, Pakistan is playing role in defense of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia should also invest in Pakistan like other countries, London, Malaysia and Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will progress together.

Prince Mansoor bin Mohammed Al Saud

Prince Mansoor bin Mohammed Al Saud said in address to ceremony that I am very impressed with hospitality here, purpose of Saudi-Pak Business Council is not only business but also to increase mutual relations, under Pak-Saudi Business Council we will provide investment opportunities in Makkah and Madina.

Prince Mansoor bin Mohammed Al Saud said that there are vast opportunities for investment in Pakistan, we will make long-term business relations, through these relations we will create vast business opportunities, we will provide investment opportunities in business companies and real estate for Pakistanis.

He said that our purpose is not only up to discussion but will also be practical measures, we will take measures for prosperity of both countries, through this expo we will give opportunity to Pakistani companies to get investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
