Once again revelation of deployment of irrelevant employees in anti-polio campaign

Deployment was pointed out in previous campaign also but no effective action could come forward

In district Central of Karachi, once again revelation of deployment of irrelevant employees in anti-polio campaign has surfaced.

In Karachi, gardener, driver, watchman and naib qasid have been deployed as Union Council Management Officer.

Pointing out of deployment of irrelevant employees was done in previous campaign also but no effective action could come forward. Policy of ban on UCMO deployment of irrelevant employees of September 2024 exists.

There is ban on deployment of irrelevant employees including naib qasid, clerk, driver, watchman, gardener and ward servant, despite policy, during new polio campaign in district Central, same employees were again deployed as UCMO.

DHO district Central Dr. Adnan Khan has defended deployment of irrelevant employees. He said that deployed employees are educated and have been working in polio program since 2013.

He said that employees understand matters of polio campaign better. There is no harm in taking work from driver, watchman and naib qasid.
