Comparing KP and Balochistan on terrorism issue is not correct, speech in Senate

Islamabad: Prime Minister's Advisor for Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that Balochistan government is fully cooperating with army and federation against terrorism while Sohail Afridi had clearly refused operation in KP, if all political parties are ready to sit together on this matter then Prime Minister is ready to sit even today.

He said this during address in Senate session. Earlier other Senators also expressed views.

Rana Sanaullah said that our Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey just compared KP and Balochistan in session, provincial government in KP was not giving required cooperation to end terrorism in KP, Chief Minister KP said multiple times that he will not allow operation while Balochistan government is fully cooperating with armed forces and federal government, all people of country will have to be like-minded to end terrorism.

Rana Sana said that Nawaz Sharif also called those people who were sitting in sit-in outside for 126 days, Maulana Abdul Wasey should talk to Maulana Fazlur Rehman, if all political parties are ready to sit together on this matter then Prime Minister is ready to sit even today however it is necessary to deal with terrorism issue which they are facing.

He said that Leader of Opposition in National Assembly is not ready to go to Speaker office and meet Prime Minister, told Opposition Leader Raja Nasir Abbas to meet Prime Minister, he said I will not go, I said go to Speaker National Assembly office, he said he does not even accept Speaker.

Rana Sana said that earlier also when PTI broke assemblies and demanded new elections then election was fixed in first week of September, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said I will tell founder of PTI and come, after that Shah Mahmood Qureshi was refused, daily strong young men of Pak Army are being martyred, those people are continuously giving sacrifices, in meetings they build narrative against head of a whole institution, if you build humiliating narrative against head of institution then meetings can be banned under rules and law.

He said that look at draft of recent negotiations in which all things were settled, they refused only on one point that will support in war against terrorism, sometimes you want to come out through Trump, this was their third long march, their long march which they wanted to do, they talked about bringing twenty lakh people and attacking, we did not.

He said that out of 82 lakh votes in KP, 31 lakh PTI took, 51 lakh other parties took, in 1999 country was going to become Asian Tiger then allegations were leveled, ten years dictatorship remained, in 2013 our government came then country became 23rd economy of world then same allegations and drama of mandate theft was done, who brought people to Islamabad and made them wear collars then their government was formed.

Rana Sanaullah further said that all political parties will have to support armed forces against terrorism, there is no option except success in war against terrorism.

Emergency has been imposed in those districts of KP where there are minerals, Mishal Azam

Senator Mishal Azam said that emergency has been imposed in those districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where there are minerals, governor rule is imposed in rest, did provincial assembly present any resolution to impose emergency? In joint meeting we were told how many incidents of terrorism happened, you are taking country towards breaking, it has been one week since governor rule imposed, what steps have you taken to counter terrorism? Three days after governor emergency imposed, governor says to international institutions come and extract minerals from here.

Senator Mishal Azam said that Mohsin Naqvi told half story, helicopter was given to Barrister Saif and offer was made to send Imran Khan to Nathia Gali, we were told founder of PTI was made to talk to Ali Amin and on other side other people of PTI were told not to talk to Ali Amin, we were told founder of PTI agreed, stop at number 26 We said make us talk on PTCL.

Earlier Maulana Abdul Wasey said that people of Balochistan are suffering double torture, on one side terrorists and on other side government kills them, Commissioner is kidnapped and local people collect money and give ransom, all matters of employment in Balochistan have become paralyzed, those who used to climb on container and say diesel diesel, today same are falling on our feet, these are same Muslim League N people for whom we were very useful but they cannot handle their own people.

PTI was conspiring against country and government, Senator Afnan

Dr. Afnanullah Khan said that opposition has said reason for governor rule is minerals, minerals were not discovered in last six months, PTI was conspiring against country and government, in last one year 3 thousand incidents of terrorism happened in KP, survival of all is in survival of this country, in 2013 unemployment in KP was 8 percent, now it has become 12 percent, literacy rate in 2013 was fifty percent, today also same, difference is some motorcycle riders have come onto Land Cruisers, you taught people abuses, staged sit-in to stop Chinese President visit.

Does only PML-N have certificate of being Pakistani? Falak Naz Chitrali

Senator Falak Naz Chitrali said that we neither fear emergency nor governor rule, we are in state of war for four years, we also tolerated that our leader was put in jail and symbol was snatched from us, for first time in history of Pakistan people voted for us despite leader imprisoned and without symbol, on October 11 mandate of KP was robbed, all leadership was put in jail, election symbol snatched, despite that public gave mandate across country, impose economic martial law in Punjab, there 12 billion aircraft was purchased, does only PML-N have certificate of being Pakistani? We want peace, we have sacrificed thousands of individuals against terrorism.

If Imran Khan comes out, politics of all these will end, Aun Abbas

Senator Aun Abbas Bappi said that even after two months from today no government member can go with me to Bannu or Dera Ismail Khan after Maghrib, they have destroyed country, sisters of founder PTI were arrested on political grounds, sisters and daughters of workers and political leaders are being picked up, God forbid fire of revenge burns in our hearts, if founder PTI comes out then politics of all these will end.

Senator Gurdeep Singh said that there were no such conditions in KP that governor rule or emergency be imposed, terrorism was there in Pakistan earlier also and terrorism came to Pakistan after Nine Eleven.

They say terrorism is not our priority, we have to get person involved in 190 million pounds released, Nasir Butt

Senator Nasir Butt said that governor rule in KP has been imposed due to them, whenever you show them reality they run away, they say terrorism is not our priority, we have to get person involved in 190 million pounds released, court itself has to release founder PTI, we did not put him in jail.

Senator Syed Waqar Mehdi said that last year also complained that a person is putting my picture on his DP and asking people for money, told NCCIA also but no effect, I call new DG NCCIA, he is not ready to pick phone.

On this Rana Sanaullah said that Senator Waqar Mehdi should come with me today, will call DG NCCIA and get matter resolved.
