Bloomberg Integrates Real-Time Stablecoin Analytics into Terminal

Bloomberg has officially introduced a dedicated stablecoin dashboard on its Terminal, offering financial professionals direct access to granular onchain data. By leveraging technology from the enterprise blockchain platform Allium, the new tool provides hourly updates on critical metrics including circulating supply, minting and burning activity, transfer volumes, and asset velocity. This integration is accessible to all Terminal users via the RWAS function.

The dashboard is designed to cover a significant portion of the digital asset landscape, specifically tracking stablecoins with a circulating supply exceeding $100 million. This scope encompasses more than 98% of the total stablecoin market, which currently holds a valuation surpassing $300 billion. In addition to major assets, the platform includes data for various non-U.S. dollar-pegged tokens and commodity-backed assets.

Previously, market participants were often forced to rely on a fragmented collection of blockchain explorers and third-party analytics websites to monitor these digital assets. The new Bloomberg interface consolidates this information, allowing users to view stablecoin activity alongside traditional financial instruments such as fixed income, foreign exchange, and money market tools. This alignment is intended to streamline workflows for institutions that are increasingly integrating tokenized assets into their broader investment strategies.

Users can customize their analysis by filtering assets based on their peg type or by drilling down into specific blockchain networks to observe localized activity. According to Bloomberg, this initiative reflects a broader commitment to providing the necessary infrastructure for institutions as digital assets become more deeply embedded in traditional financial systems, including applications in cross-border payments and short-dated Treasury demand.

Matthew Parkinson, Global Head of Digital Assets Product at Bloomberg, noted that stablecoins are becoming essential components of institutional markets. By providing the same level of data certainty found in traditional asset classes, the company aims to support firms as they navigate the complexities of tokenized financial infrastructure. The launch arrives as global regulators continue to scrutinize the stablecoin sector, highlighting the growing demand for transparent, institutional-grade market data.
