4 terrorists killed in security forces operations in Kalat and Gwadar, one Major of Pak Army martyred

During operation, terrorists' hideout was effectively targeted

During intelligence-based operations of security forces in Balochistan districts Kalat and Gwadar, 4 terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan were sent to hell, while during clearance operation in Pasni tehsil of Gwadar district, Major Wajahat Waheed of Pak Army embraced martyrdom in blast of improvised bomb.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of Pak Army, intelligence agencies had reported presence of several hideouts of Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Hindustan in area Jatakabad of district Kalat and area Shadi Kor of tehsil Pasni of district Gwadar which were threat to local population.

According to ISPR, on October 18, 2026 security forces conducted intelligence-based operation in Jatakabad area of Kalat. During operation terrorists' hideout was effectively targeted and after intense exchange of firing 4 terrorists were killed. Large stock of arms and ammunition was also recovered from area.

According to spokesperson of Pak Army, clearance operation was ongoing in area Shadi Kor of tehsil Pasni of district Gwadar to eliminate terrorists and make area safe when during that security forces contingent was targeted with improvised explosive device (IED).

As result of blast, Major Wajahat Waheed who was leading contingent was martyred. 34-year-old Major Wajahat Waheed belonged to Lahore. He sacrificed his life in defence of motherland during performance of duty.

ISPR says that clearance and sanitization operations will continue for elimination of other terrorists present in area.

Spokesperson of Pak Army further said that under vision 'Azm-e-Istehkam' approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, operations against terrorism will continue with full force.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies are determined for elimination of foreign-sponsored terrorism from country.

Prime Minister's tribute to forces

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has paid great tribute to security forces for sending 4 Indian-sponsored terrorists to hell in successful operations against Khawarij in areas of Balochistan district Kalat and Gwadar.

Shehbaz Sharif paying great tribute to 34-year-old Major Wajahat Waheed Shaheed for embracing martyrdom in IED blast in Pasni said that Major Wajahat Waheed sacrificed his life for protection of beloved homeland, nation is proud of this brave son.

He also expressed heartfelt sympathy with family of Shaheed Major and prayed for elevation of ranks.

Prime Minister reiterated resolve to continue war till complete elimination of foreign-sponsored terrorism under vision 'Azm-e-Istehkam' of Apex Committee.
